Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2 Review – I didn’t catch the first movie but from what I understand, it was about this dude who wants to be an inventor and finally managed to create a machine that turns water into food. Somehow disaster strikes and his town attacked by killer ‘spaghetti’ tornado and stuff. Am I right so far? In the sequel, the flick begins with Flint Lockwood getting a chance to meet his Inventor Idol, Chester V who have ulterior motive to evacuate the people of Swallow Falls to San Frojose so he can work on his ‘evil’ plan.

'Steve' is impressed!

The movie is a spread of cute food; some might scare you at the beginning. Just imagine a cheeseburger trying to eat you or getting chased by a giant taco that resembles crocodile. Later on bumping into adorable mash mellows that melts your heart and also loveable Strawberry called Berry. Upon discovering the real reason behind Chester’s interest in his invention, Flint joined by his Dad and friends try to set things right.

What an invention ey?

There’s nothing much I can write expect that it is a feel good movie, so rich in color and tease your imagination with variety of vegetables, fruits, food turned into delightful ‘human like’ characters. You would want to ‘root’ for their survival despite it not making sense at all. Bring your kids over so they will enjoy watching common food forming ‘bond’ the humans!
