Warm Bodies Review!

Hi there...want sum flower?

Warm Bodies Review – I usually avoid anything associated with zombies like a plague but somehow when I saw the trailer for this one, I told myself ‘Ok fine, I will make an exception”. Thank God I did. Let’s face it, not the most brill movie ever made yet it just had the right ‘X’ factor to lure me in.
Wasup? Wanna go grab a bite of brain o two?
Basically, it’s about zombies that feast on humans in order to survive. They grunt, walk, shrug looking for food (brain is their favorite part!) However, this one particular zombie (R) sorta feels he is different and yearns for something un-zombie like! He finds what he was missing thru Julie (whom her boyfriend was walapped by R! Can u say awkward?). R falls for the girl (gasp!) and Julie start falling for R (double gasp!) Hmm…guess love is blind in some case.
Love knows no boundries yo! :D

This lovey dovey feeling sparked between the love birds triggers something else which might just change the world as they know it!

How did HE......
becomes HIM??? O.O

Nicholas Hoult and Teresa Palmer make a cute couple and make an even cuter couple after ‘the change’! Guess sometimes all we need is a little love to change the world! Watch it for light entertainment and you will catch yourself smiling to yourself!

Hottie who have hots for zombie!

The Croods Review! Da Da Daaaaaa :D

Catch it in 3D!

The Croods Review – Before you start reading, stop doing so and go watch the movie at this instant itself, buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut, in case you opt to continue, here’s my two cents worth of review. The Croods might sound like a weird family name. In this case however, it suits the family well. Let me introduce the family members, there’s Grug – typical over-protective father, Ugga – understanding wife and mother, Gran – Ugga’s mum and Grug’s mum-in-law (she could give Sid the Sloth's granny from Ice Age a run for her money!), Thunk – brave but brain not really there son, Sandy – youngest of the lot who could give Jack Jack from The Incredibles run for his money! and Eep – who’s kinda like me (tak reti duduk diam punya budak pompuan!) and the outsider Guy – a guy called ‘Guy’ coz I think it would be weird to call a guy ‘Girl’ rite?

All members of the family present and accounted for yo!

Anyhow, The Croods somehow managed to outlive all their neighbors who got killed either by giant mosquitos, common cold, snake and what not but nothing prepared them for the future! Lucky for them, Guy managed to bring them to safety from their world that’s going extinct. They go thru a journey of a lifetime, leaning new things, embracing new ideas, facing their fears, adapting to new environment and such.

Don't just go....let's go Dad!

It’s a feel good movie for adults and kids.  Loads of positive message are packed in this gem! The music and colors are so alive. (Yuna sang the theme song with Owl City so extra YEAY for that!) Yuna & Old City - Shine You Way

The creatures are freaky looking but beyond expectation. You will want to watch it again and again just to enjoy it all over again. Great voice casting. You will immerse yourself and associate the characters with your family members.

Vibrant colors combined with awesome background music!
Waaaaaaaa!!!!

Dreamworks hits a homerun with this family flick! Watch it and you will come out smiling ear to ear! You might wanna take a picture of yourself using The Croods old school camera! Now say Da Da Daaaaa for the picture! :D

New fella to fall in love with! :D

Oz, The Great and Powerful Review

Yummy yummy cast!!!
Oz, The Great and Powerful Review – Do not adjust your 3D glasses (if you are watching it on 3D), your glasses (if you are a specky like me) or your eyes. The first 10-15 minutes of the movie is in black and white mode in standard size instead of widescreen. However, once Oscar Diggs (James Franco) leaves Kansas and enters Oz, you will be blown away by the colors! The movie begins with how Oz trying to con his audiences and girls to fall for his trick which finally catches up with him. While trying to run away from the mess, he somehow ends up in the vibrant Land of Oz.

Wanna fly?
He is met with the lovely, Theodora who brings him to meet her sister, Evanora (played by Mila Kunis (YUMMMM!) and Rachael Weisz (still looking HOOOOOT!), respectively) who in return entice him with riches and gold which could be his if he could defect the evil witch. Oz travels tru the Yellow Brick Road to defeat the evil witch and saves a flying monkey and a porcelain girl along the way who teach him the meaning of friendship. Oz learners the real truth once he meet another witch in the form of Glinda (Michelle Williams [who looks yum yum as well!])

U can put a spell on me anytime Glida! :D
Together with the peopen (Krabi after effect!) of Oz they try to defect the real evil witches and you can guess how they fare lah kan? It’s a Disney movie for God’s sake so of coz the Good defeats the Evil and everyone lives happily ever after till somebody comes up with a sequel and try to make more money of the this franchise.

Yummy yum yum!
Sigh....so cantek!

Damn u Daniel! Damn U!!!
The cast is Weisz’ly picked, I’m not a big fan of James after he host the Oscar but he redeemed himself well by playing Oscar in this movie. Somehow the character suits him well. From a berlagak self-fish bugger, he turns into a hero. Michelle Williams is so nice and warm I just wanted to hug her! (in a good manner!) While Mila….oh Mila ….tsk tsk tsk…I iz so sad, somebody seriously got jeles of your kick ass prettiness and decided to change you into Hulk’s distance cousin, alas, I still heart u! Rachael ‘Mrs. Daniel Craig’ Weisz oso kena change in the end to look like…ugh…but all of them played their part well. Not to mention the supporting cast.

tsk tsk tsk :'(

Music wonderfully suited each scene and the cinematography simply captured the spirit of Oz to the core! After back to back crappy movies last week. I’m glad Sam Raimi managed to bring my faith back into movie magic. This movie MANIac thank you visionary Director. I look forward to more of your awesome movies in the future!

Aye caremba!....sumbody pls hand me sum tichooo plssss....
Review finish redy so go get your ticket and enjoy this magical ride!
